Anonymous inquired:

Did you even ever fucking finish part 9? You always say you had "too much going on to finish" yet here you are constantly blogging complete crap on your blog... Way to completely ditch a story.

Dear Anon,
Kiss my ass!

💋

…the fuck is this? What is wrong with people? Sometimes a story has to be put aside for a bit, either because real life got in the way or because the spark to write it has been lost, either temporarily or for good. A reminder to anon: nobody has an obligation to you to finish a fanfic. Kindly stop being an asshole.

Fuck. That. Bullshit.

Pardon me while I hop on this thread…

Dear Anon,

Politely asking about status of a fic is one thing, but being demanding and degrading the author is another. Please exit the theatre, you will not be given a refund.

Awww, damnit Anne, you made me feel embarassed for being so rude.

(But, still. Fuck. That. Bullshit.)

Thank you so much guys! I love the “got ya back, Jack” part of this fandom! It’s amazing!

Dear anon not cool! you don’t attack the author of a fan fiction for putting it on hold, having writers block, not finishing /abandoning it, or losing the spark that inspired it in the first place! feel free to write your own fan fiction if you think you can do any better, my guess is you’ll find its not that easy! Hears the thing about fan fiction there’s no guarantee that it will be a complete, finished work, if you can’t except that than you shouldn’t be reading it in the first place!

this is completely not ok

fanfic writers are not machines that can turn out the stories how and when you want them. we’re actually human beings with lives.

trust me - all writers feel the pressure to finish what we’ve started (we get plenty of it from ourselves without you adding to it), and we will always finish as soon as we can.  blogging stuff isn’t the same as writing; one is considerably easier than the other, and if you don’t believe that, perhaps you should try writing.  start a series of fanfics, churn them out, keep going, keep writing high quality stories, live up to the pressure of people’s expectations and demands (like the one you just sent on anon) - do it all on your free time, cos you’re not getting paid for it.

every single fanfic writer in this fandom is amazing.  it’s a pity that we’re starting to see that not all the fans are
