Today I begin my 39th journey on this earth. To be honest I never really thought I would live this long. As a survivor it’s just something I have learned to deal with and embrace. Embrace the fragility of life and live every moment of every day.

This year has been so revolutionary in so many ways. I have gained a deeper understanding of myself and my place in the world. Body positivity and taking up space as a fat femme has become part of my daily life. I don’t shy away from my body anymore. I love my curves and my flaws and my scars. They are beautiful pieces that makeup my body and fuel my inner strength.

Emotionally I have been on a roller coaster of self discovery. I found strength in my chillona heart. I know that tears and being sensitive are my strength. I feel everything. My psychic abilities have been reawakened this past year and I am not closing them off.

I found the deepest truest love this year. As a survivor I didn’t know my heart was capable of loving another person. I slowly opened up though, fell in love hard and fast. Crashed and burned. Rose from the ashes and survived. We are slowly and cautiously finding our way back to each other. I don’t know what is going to happen in the future or what it holds for us as people or as a couple but I am lucky to have met the love of my life.

I would like to thank each and every one of you that have been part of my journey this year. The fatshion community, my femmes of color, my queer loves and my tumblarians. Last but not least I want to give a special thanks to my emus, the fandom that doesn’t quit. You have accepted me into your hearts and I appreciate every comment, like, and repost. Thank you for embracing my playlists and fanfiction. For offering me love and support when I needed it most. We are more than just a fandom I call you all friends and family.
